Anton Abele to join JKL
Anton Abele will join JKL as a consultant after the turn of the year. Anton will strengthen JKL’s market-leading Public Affairs team with his valuable expertise and experience in actively driving the public debate as both a politician and an engaged citizen.
Few newly-graduated economics students can boast four years’ work experience from the Swedish parliament – Anton Abele is one of them. Anton became the youngest-ever Swedish MP following a successful personal election campaign in 2010. His political engagement is characterised by his involvement in the Moderate Party and perhaps more strongly by his active role in the debate on street violence. Anton founded the Stop Street Violence organisation in 2007 following a successful social media campaign. Anton will complete his studies at the Stockholm School of Economics this autumn and will join JKL in the spring of 2015.
“I look forward to being part of JKL’s collective experience and expertise within Public Affairs. The opportunity to work with some of the most exciting clients and projects in the Nordic region is, of course, one of the main reasons I think JKL is an attractive and interesting firm,” said Anton Abele.
“It will be fantastic to welcome Anton to our Public Affairs team. I’ve gotten to know Anton as a committed person who is always one step ahead, and I’m confident that he will offer a somewhat different dimension to our clients,” said Anna Grönlund Krantz, Managing Director of JKL Sweden.
